With TripWip, you can pick up your car at different points in Montevideo, in addition to the host’s address:
Airplane: Carrasco International Airport (MVD)
Bus: Tres Cruces Terminal
Anchor: Buquebus Terminal (port)
Option 1: Searching by your address
Open the TripWip app and enter your address, along with the dates and times of your rental.
Look for the car that fits what you need. You’ll see a card for each car, with its photos, model, rating, distance, and price per day.
Look at the icons on the right side of the card. If you see the airplane, bus, or anchor symbol, it means that host offers delivery and pickup of the car at that location.
Keep the delivery price in mind. Each host sets the cost of delivering and picking up the car from these locations, so it may vary from one car to another. If an icon doesn’t appear, that car doesn’t have pickup at that location.
Ask to have the car delivered wherever you want. Some hosts also offer the option of bringing the car to the address of your choice. This option comes with a flat fee that, like the others, is set by the host.
Choose the car, confirm the pickup location, and complete your booking.
Option 2: Searching directly for the pickup location
Open the app and, in the search bar, type “Airport”, “Tres Cruces”, or “Buquebus”.
The app will show you the cars that offer delivery at the extra location you searched for.
Choose the car you like best, confirm the pickup location, and book.
