You can see it on the car's page, before you book, together with the price per extra kilometre. For example: «300 km per day included · 1,200 km in total for your 4 days. Extra km: $5 UYU». It also appears at checkout and in the trip details.
The standard limit by country
Country | Km per day | Extra km |
🇦🇷 Argentina | 200 km | 0.25 USD |
🇺🇾 Uruguay | 300 km | 5 UYU |
🇲🇽 Mexico | 300 km | 0.25 USD |
For rentals that aren't whole days, the limit is proportional: in Uruguay, 12 hours are 150 km and 6 hours, 75 km.
It's the same for every car
There's no unlimited mileage and no cars with a different limit: the number is set by the country and applies to every vehicle listed there.
What happens if you go over
The excess is charged at the country's price per kilometre, and it can come out of the security deposit. That's why it's worth looking at the total included —not only the daily figure— on longer trips.
