Step by step: how is the verification done?

1. Document upload

From your profile, you must upload:

If you are a driver:

  • Valid identity document. (Argentina and Mexico)

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Selfie or facial validation.

If you are a host:

  • Identity document.

  • Vehicle ownership.

It is important that the photos are clear, complete, and not cropped.


2. Automatic and manual validation

Once the information is submitted:

  • The system performs an initial automatic verification.

  • In some cases, the TripWip team may conduct an additional manual review.

  • It is validated that the data matches and that the documentation is current.

This process helps prevent identity theft or incorrect information.


3. Status confirmation

When the verification is complete:

  • You receive a notification in the app or by email.

  • Your account is enabled to operate normally.

If additional information is required, you will be asked from the platform.
