Step by step: how is the verification done?
1. Start the process
Tap the "Verify identity" button on your profile. Didit's secure interface will open.
2. Driver's licence
Upload your valid licence, with at least one year of experience, showing the front and the back, to confirm that you are allowed to drive.
3. ID document
Take a photo of your ID document — DNI in Argentina, Cédula de Identidad in Uruguay, or your passport — showing both sides, in good light and without glare.
4. Live selfie
Follow the instructions on screen to take a selfie right there and then, confirming that you are the same person as in the document.
5. Tell us something about yourself
Add a short introduction to your profile: what you do, or what you enjoy. It builds trust and helps the host accept your request sooner.
6. Wait for confirmation
Once you've completed these steps, close the screen. The system processes your information automatically and lets you know in the app or by email when your status is updated.

How long does verification take?
Verification is usually approved within 24 to 48 business hours from the time you submit complete documentation. During periods of high demand, it may take up to 72 business hours. If more than 72 hours have passed, write to our support chat with your name and registered email.

The quality of the images sent.
Any additional review required.
