Step by step: how is the verification done?
1. Document upload
From your profile, you must upload:
If you are a driver:
Valid identity document. (Argentina and Mexico)
Valid driver's license.
Selfie or facial validation.
If you are a host:
Identity document.
Vehicle ownership.
It is important that the photos are clear, complete, and not cropped.
2. Automatic and manual validation
Once the information is submitted:
The system performs an initial automatic verification.
In some cases, the TripWip team may conduct an additional manual review.
It is validated that the data matches and that the documentation is current.
This process helps prevent identity theft or incorrect information.
3. Status confirmation
When the verification is complete:
You receive a notification in the app or by email.
Your account is enabled to operate normally.
If additional information is required, you will be asked from the platform.
How long does verification take?
Verification is usually approved within 24 to 48 business hours from the time you submit complete documentation. During periods of high demand, it may take up to 72 business hours. If more than 72 hours have passed, write to our support chat indicating your name and registered email.
However, in some cases the timeframe may vary depending on:
Volume of requests.
Quality of the images sent.
Additional reviews required.
