Rental Extension

If you need to extend the vehicle's return date, no problem, as long as the host agrees. Follow these steps:

It is very important that the platform reflects the reality regarding the vehicle rental. Whatever the reason, if you need to use the vehicle longer than agreed, you must inform the platform. If you do not, these are the risks you would face:

  • ⁠That it does not have coverage against any damage, with the driver being responsible for all costs incurred. Even if you are not using it, the vehicle is exposed to theft, among other things.

  • That extra hourly charges are applied (even more expensive than the vehicle rental price).

  • That the vehicle is considered as misappropriation or theft.

  • That the account is deactivated.

Steps to extend the rental:

  • You must select the ongoing rental in the trips tab and press the extend trip button.

  • You will need to select the new end date. If the vehicle is available, it will allow you to send the extension request to the host.

  • Once the request is sent, the host can approve it. If they do, the rental details will be updated automatically and the corresponding charge will be made to the payment method entered in the app.

It is important to keep in mind that if your extension request is not approved, your rental is not extended and the original return date and time remain.
