How is the condition of the car recorded before and after the trip?
TripWip has a mandatory photo process that protects both parties in case of any issues.
Check-in (start of the trip) is done by the driver
Before the trip, the driver takes 8 photos of the vehicle from different angles: front, rear, both sides, front interior and rear interior, dashboard (showing fuel level and kilometers) and general condition.
These photos are stored in the reservation and serve as evidence of the car's condition at the time of delivery.
Check-out (end of the trip) — is done by the host
At the end of the rental, the host takes the same 8 photos to document the condition in which the vehicle was returned.
The comparison between both records allows for any claims to be resolved objectively and transparently.

Conditions
TripWip recommends managing all rentals through the app or the official website. Reservations made outside are not covered by TripWip's insurance. Therefore, trips coordinated outside the platform are not valid for insurance.
