Photos at Pickup and Return

Before starting the rental and upon its completion, photos of the vehicle must be taken to document its condition. This serves as evidence for any reported damage.

Updated today

At the start of the trip, the person responsible for taking the photos is the driver. They will have a period of 1 hour before the trip starts and up to 4 hours after to take photos. It is important to take the photos following the guide and angles indicated by the platform, and to document any damage that the vehicle already has to avoid it being reported as damage due to the rental later on.

At the end of the rental, it is the host who must take the photos. They will have from 8 hours before and up to 1 hour after to do so. It is also important to follow the platform's guide and to document any damage that may have occurred during the rental and that they wish to claim.

In both cases, if for any reason the photos cannot be uploaded to the platform, the important thing is to save them on the phone's memory and share them through TripWip's support channel, respecting the times indicated above.
