Start time
The trip can only start from the time indicated in the reservation.
Initial photo upload
The driver must take and upload photos of the vehicle in the app before picking it up:

Mileage
Trip activation
Once the photos are uploaded and the data verified, the system officially enables the start of the rental.
🏁 End of the trip
End time
The trip must be closed at the agreed time or earlier if returned early.
Final photo upload
The host is the one who takes and uploads the photos when receiving the vehicle:
Exterior (all sides)
Interior
Mileage
Return confirmation
Once the photos are sent, the system records the completion and the trip is closed.
⚠️ Importance of following this process
Without uploaded photos, the trip does not have backup in case of a claim.
Ensures coverage of the policy and compliance with the terms and conditions.
Prevents disputes over damages or the condition of the vehicle.
⚠️If for any reason it is not possible to upload the photos in the app, make sure to take them with your phone and send them to the TripWip support team. The trip will be activated as started shortly.
