At TripWip, each reservation includes the scheduled time and meeting point for the delivery and return of the vehicle.
However, a good coordination with the driver can prevent misunderstandings and ensure everything goes smoothly.


💬 1. Use the chat to confirm details

  • As soon as you accept the reservation, send a message to the driver to introduce yourself and confirm the place and time.

  • Take the opportunity to give clear directions on how to get to the delivery point (landmarks, nearby streets, available parking).

  • If the location is not well-known or complex, you can share a location pin to facilitate the meeting.


🕒 2. Punctuality above all

  • Arrive at the agreed location a few minutes early.

  • Notify via chat if you are going to be late. Quick communication prevents frustrations.

  • Remember that repeated delays can affect your reputation as a host.


🔄 3. Vehicle delivery

  • Conduct a quick review of the car with the driver.

  • Take and upload to the app photos of the exterior, interior, and mileage following the guide.

  • Explain any important details of the vehicle (special functions, care to be taken).

  • In Uruguay, request the payment for the rental according to the method you indicated.


🚗 4. Coordinate the return

  • Before the rental period ends, confirm with the driver the time and place of return.

  • Apply the same protocol: joint review, photos, and registration in the app.

  • If there is any incident, report it immediately through TripWip's channels.
