What to do if the driver does not show up

It's not common, but it's important to know how to act to protect your time and your vehicle.

🕒 1. Wait a reasonable amount of time

  • Wait at least 15 minutes after the agreed time.

  • In the meantime, message them through the TripWip chat to confirm if they are on their way or if there has been a delay.


📞 2. Try to get in touch

  • If you do not receive a response from the platform chat, you can request assistance from the TripWip team to contact them by phone.


📋 3. Document the situation

  • Save the messages and take a photo of the place and time to support that you were present.

  • This may serve as proof if any cancellation or refund policy needs to be applied.


🚗 4. Notify the TripWip team

  • If the driver does not show up after your attempt to contact them and you have waited enough time, inform our support team.

  • They will guide you on how to proceed according to the terms and conditions in your country.


💡 Prevent it from happening again

  • Always confirm the reservation and meeting point via chat before the delivery day.

  • Share clear references and, if possible, a location pin.
