You will be able to access the corresponding roadside assistance service.

Uruguay:

Assistance should be requested from Auxicar by calling 2618 0000 – Option 1, mentioning that it is a vehicle rented through TripWip. Auxicar will verify the existence of an active rental through the vehicle's license plate number and, if necessary, will proceed with the assistance or towing of the vehicle to the location indicated in the rental information.

The cost of the service will initially be covered by TripWip and later the payment responsibility (Driver or Host) will be determined based on the primary diagnosis of the service. This diagnosis will only include obvious failures, such as battery discharge due to lights being left on. If a more detailed mechanical evaluation is required, it must be performed at an authorized workshop.

If the vehicle cannot continue moving without first visiting a workshop, it will be towed to the host's address.
